Oscar's Kitchen

Family-owned American + Mexican kitchen tucked into the Placid Lakes neighborhood off US-27 — a Jaramillo family operation. Oscar started the original in Sebring nine years back; this Lake Placid outpost, run by Maria and daughter Jackeline with Chef Chris Manoudakis (33 years in the kitchen), took over an old Italian deli space. Split hours worth knowing: breakfast-only Sun–Tue, full-service Wed–Sat. Loaded fajitas, Molcajete, and the American Sweetheart breakfast are the signatures.

What to order

Loaded fajitas or the Molcajete for the Mexican side; the American Sweetheart is the signature for the American side. Any day before 2p works; Wed–Sat if you want lunch or dinner too. Takeout or dine-in.
